An 80-year-old man was killed after he was struck by a pick-up truck while riding his bicycle out of a Garden Grove shopping center, according to a news report.
The bicyclist, who was not identified, was struck by a Ford F250 truck that was making a right turn out of a Garden Grove shopping center parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Garden Grove police interviewed the driver, a 36-year-old resident of Huntington Beach, who told officers that he had looked for traffic before making the turn but did not see the bicyclist.
Garden Grove police are continuing their investigation into the accident, and have made no arrests.
