A 22-year-old Costa Mesa woman has died after falling victim to a Laguna Beach pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
Nina Karen Fitzpatrick, a student at Laguna College of Art and Design, died four days after she was hit in a crosswalk near the college by a Minnesota woman driving on Laguna Canyon Road. The Laguna Beach Police Department said that the driver apparently did not see Ms. Fitzpatrick in the crosswalk; neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the fatal pedestrian accident.
