A husband and wife bicycling together near San Juan Hills High School in San Juan Capistrano have been injured in a collision with a vehicle, according to a news report.
The Orange County Fire Authority said they responded to a call of a crash involving a vehicle and two bicyclists on southbound La Pata Avenue. The wife suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The husband sustained soft tissue injuries but was being treated as a trauma patient because of the nature of the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating this bicycle accident.
