A teenage boy was critically injured in a Brea SUV rollover accident and the driver has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, according to a news report.
Brea police said that Manuel Zepeda, 19, of Norwalk was traveling westbound on Imperial Highway when he apparently struck a fence west of Berry St., causing his Honda CR-V to roll. Police found a teenage boy trapped in the back seat and firefighters had to cut him out of the car. He was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he is in critical condition with a reported skull fracture and lacerated spleen.
Authorities said another passenger in the car fled the scene and has not been located. Zepeda was treated for minor injuries and then arrested on suspicion of DUI.
