Three children who were playing with a lighter in a Lake Forest cemetery apparently set a maintenance building ablaze, according to a news report.
An Orange County Fire Authority spokesman said that three boys aged 7, 12 and 13 were playing with a lighter and flammable liquid at the El Toro Memorial Park cemetery and are believed to have accidently started a fire that charred a maintenance building. Approximately 30 firefighters were required to extinguish the blaze.
Officials said that witnesses reported the boys running from the area when the fire broke out; the investigation is ongoing and no charges have yet been filed.
