A 58-year-old Fullerton Union High School government and philosophy teacher is in critical condition after being injured when his motorcycle struck a car that had turned left in front of him.
According to a news report, Jeff Rupp was riding his Harley north on Euclid Street when a sedan traveling south on Euclid made a left turn in front of him. Rupp sustained head injuries and a number of broken bones in the accident, and is in critical condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Police are investigating the driver of the sedan for possible failure to yield charges, but do not believe excessive speed, drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
