A La Habra City School District bus carrying 14 students was rear-ended by a Ford Expedition, causing injuries to two children inside the SUV, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol, which investigates all school bus accidents, said that the Expedition crashed into the back of the school bus and was wedged under the bus until tow truck drivers arrived to separate the two vehicles. The accident happened on West La Habra Boulevard and North Marian Street.
Two children in the Expedition were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries; there were no injuries reported for any of the students on the bus or the bus driver.
