A 57-year-old man has been injured in a Huntington Beach pedestrian accident and the driver is being held on suspicion of DUI, according to a news report.
Huntington Beach police said that the unidentified victim was found injured in the street near Springdale St. and Glenwood Drive. He was taken to UCI Medical Center in critical condition. The driver, identified as Johann Balogh, 65, of Huntington Beach, left the scene but later contacted police and was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and DUI.
