An unidentified male pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a big-rig on Beach Boulevard in Stanton, according to a news report.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department said that officers responded to a call at Chapman Avenue and Beach Boulevard, where they found a pedestrian lying in the road. A big-rig traveling east on Chapman had turned left onto Beach Boulevard and hit the man. He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said they do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the fatal pedestrian accident, which is still under investigation.
