A 58-year-old Santa Ana man has been killed in a Coto de Caza construction accident, according to a news report.
The Orange County Fire Authority said that Blas Serrano-Escudero was working on the installation of a storm water pipe in the 31600 block of Manzana Way when the trench he was working in collapsed on him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The state Division of Occupational Health and Safety is investigating the incident along with the Orange County Fire Authority.
