A Toyota 4Runner crashed into a Seal Beach bus bench and sent one man to the hospital in critical condition, according to a news report.
Seal Beach police said that the man was inside a bus shelter on Seal Beach Boulevard north of Pacific Coast Highway when the SUV crashed into it. A man reported to be in his 60s was trapped in the debris and was taken to a local treatment center with critical injuries.
The SUV driver stayed at the scene to talk with police, who are asking any witnesses to the accident to call 562-799-4100, ext. 1612.
