A two-year-old boy has died after he was found unconscious in a Placentia residential pool, according to a news report.
The Orange County Coroner’s Office said that Omar Abo-Shadi of Placentia died at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange. Police and firefighters had responded to a report of a toddler in a pool at a home in the 500 block of Dartmouth Drive in Placentia. He was taken to St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, where he was resuscitated and then transferred to Children’s Hospital, where he died.
