Two people sustained injuries in separate Anaheim pedestrian accidents that occurred within minutes of each other, according to a news report.
Anaheim police were first called with a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian at Knott and Lincoln Avenues. The unidentified adult victim was taken to a local trauma center in critical condition, and authorities said the driver stayed at the scene to talk with police.
The second pedestrian accident occurred minutes later at the intersection of Crescent Way and Lincoln Avenue, less than four miles away from the first pedestrian accident. An unidentified woman with life threatening injuries was taken to a local trauma center for treatment. The driver left the scene before police arrived, and authorities are working to locate the driver of a dark, late model Toyota Camry or similar model for questioning.
