An 18-year-old Anaheim woman died after being struck by a car as she was crossing an Anaheim street to catch a bus, according to a news report.
Anaheim police said that Denley Angeles had just gotten off a bus and was crossing Katella Avenue to catch another bus when she was hit by a Toyota Camry. Angeles was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she died several hours after the accident.
Police said that the driver of the Toyota Camry remained at the scene and was cooperating with police in the investigation of the accident.
