A 68-year-old woman has been killed in a Santa Ana pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
Santa Ana police said that Petra Perez Jimenez was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Grant Street and Standard Avenue when she was struck by a Toyota Camry traveling north on Standard. She was taken to Western Medical Center, where she died from her injuries.
The Camry driver remained at the scene; the investigation into the fatal pedestrian accident is ongoing.
